We are happy to welcome you to our homepage. The purpose of this website is to give you information about us and the services we offer. We are not interested in collecting personal data for the purposes of evaluation. What is the legal basis for this?

When you go to our website, you disclose (for technical reasons) data regarding your internet browser to our web server. The following data is recorded during an ongoing connection for the communication between your internet browser and our web server:

  • Date and time of the requestDate and time of the request
  • Name of the requested site
  • Site from which the subpage was requested
  • Access status (page transferred, page not found etc.)
  • Web browser used and operating system used
  • Full IP address of the requesting computer
  • Quantity of data transferred

For reasons connected to technical security, especially in order to defend against attempted attacks against our server, this data will be saved for a short period of time. Tracing these back to individual persons is not possible on the basis of this data. No merging of data takes place with other data sources, nor does a transfer or partial transfer to third parties take place. The processing occurs according to Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. f GDPR.

Collecting and processing personal data

If you send us an email, your data will only be collected, processed and used for the purpose of the email. After the reason for retaining the data has passed, it will be immediately deleted. Unfortunately, not all data transfers (email, etc.) via internet are secure. Therefore, we would like to point out that we cannot guarantee complete protection of your personal data if you use this method of transfer. The processing occurs according to Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. b, f GDPR.

Use of Cookies

It is possible that we may set so-called “cookies” in your computer when you visit our website. By means of these, we can recognise your computer the next time you visit us. Most internet browsers are set in such a way that they automatically accept cookies.

Technical implementation

Our web server is operated by 1und1 Internet SE, 56410 Montabaur and is located in a com-puter centre in Germany and we have concluded a Contract Data Processing Agreement with them. This contract agreement documents all technical and organizational measures.

IONOS WebAnalytics

This website uses IONOS WebAnalytics analysis services. The provider of these services is 1&1 IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. In conjunction with the performance of analyses by IONOS, it is possible to e.g. analyze the number of visitors and their behavior patterns during visits (e.g. number of pages accessed, duration of their visits to the website, percentage of aborted visits), visitor origins (i.e. from which site does the visitor arrive at our site), visitor locations as well as technical data (browser and session of operating system used). For these purposes, IONOS archives in particular the following data:

  • Referrer (previously visited website)
  • Accessed page on the website or file
  • Browser type and browser version
  • Used operating system
  • Type of device used
  • Website access time
  • Anonymized IP address (used only to determine the access location)

According to IONOS, the data recorded are completely anonymized so they cannot be tracked back to individuals. IONOS WebAnalytics does not archive cookies. 

The data are stored and analyzed pursuant to Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. f GDPR. The operator of the website has a legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of user patterns to optimize both, the operator’s web presentation as well as the operator’s promotional activities. If a corresponding agreement has been requested, the processing takes place exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR; the agreement can be revoked at any time.

Rights of the data subject

Every data subject has the right of access (according to Art. 15 GDPR), right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), right to object (Art. 21 GDPR) as well as the right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).

You may withdraw from us your consent to process personal data at any time. Processing that occurred before the withdrawal is not affected.

Further, there is a right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).

Changes to data protection declaration

We reserve the right to change this data protection declaration in order to adjust it to changes in legal conditions or in case of changes to our services or our processing of data.
